What’s this? The internet wont be connected for another three weeks? That will never do!

Sam, Jez, and I setup a little wireless network between our two houses (45 meters, not line of sight, across a road in a dense neighborhood). We’re getting about 3-8mbit from it, varying with local traffic, humidity, etc, and 0-8% packet loss (though the packets usually get there in the end, just with huge latency sometimes)

It’s pretty neat! Let our powers combine! Next up? We need to get some more houses in on this. :D
